FoodWhat’s 2026 Benefit Celebration Dinner
Sunday, September 27, 2026, 4:30 - 7 PM
Our Benefit Celebration Dinner invites our beloved community to learn more about our programs, hear directly from FoodWhat youth, and support our work. This well-loved community event brings together hundreds of members of the FoodWhat Family: youth, parents, teachers, nonprofit leaders, local businesses, elected officials, farmers, supporters and more. The FoodWhat Youth Crew partners with top local chefs to prepare portions of the meal for the evening. The highlight of the night comes when the youth take to the mic to stand in their power and share their personal stories of growth and transformation from their year at FoodWhat.
For the last few years, FoodWhat has grown in significant ways, including increasing the number of youth we serve, hiring new staff, increasing youth wages and, at the end of 2025, finally stepping into land ownership with the purchase of our own permanent home, “Homebase”! Tickets this year are free of charge, and there will be an opportunity to make a gift or contribution on the day of the event for those who feel called to do so.
