New staff have a robust onboarding process to ensure they receive the context, training, and deep dive needed to succeed.  This can also include longer term mentoring. 

When first joining the team, clear goals and expectations will be set with accompanying check-ins at 90 and 180 days for any new staff. During these first 6 months, the new staff member is invited to determine if this job is a match for them while their manager will confirm if they have the skills and orientation to succeed in their new role. We call these first 6 months the Orientation and Evaluation Period.
